VAT will be included in the total price upon checkout. Our prices are reviewed periodically.

Delivery
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address which you give for delivery when you make your order. If any of the details you have given us in your delivery address are incorrect, we are not liable for any items which have not been received.

Delivery will be made as soon as possible and usually within 7 days of receipt of your order - dependent on product ordered and postal service selected at checkout.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we estimate, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries

Some postal addresses in Northern Ireland, some offshore islands and some remote areas of Great Britain may not be covered by our normal delivery services and so we may have to contact you to advise you of extra postal charges.

Additional postage charges may also be requested if the packed order weight exceeds carrier limits.

If you have not received your items, you must check with your local sorting office even if you have not received notification from your RM postman that they are holding items for you.

In the event that we reproduce an item for you and subsequently the original is returned as undelivered by Royal Mail, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee up to 100% of the trade price of the reproduced product.

We reserve the right to wait up to 10 working days from the date of despatch before taking further action regarding an undelivered item.

Royal Mail Tracked 24
Tracked 24hr delivery is available Monday to Friday, except bank holidays for products where stated.
(a) From Monday to Friday, orders must be placed by 1pm to ensure same day dispatch.
(b) Orders placed on a Friday before the specified last order time will be delivered the following week.
(c) Orders placed on a Saturday/Sunday will be delivered the following week.
(d) Unfortunately we cannot deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance, please expect your delivery on the next working day.
(e) Our carrier will normally deliver your parcel between 9am and 5pm, but we cannot give you a specific delivery time.
(f) A signature may be required on receipt.
(g) If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place, if they think it is safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done.
(h) If the parcel can't be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, the carrier will take it back to the local depot, and leave you a card telling you how you can pick it up.

The Tracked 24 delivery method is not a guaranteed next day delivery service.
The Jewellery Box will not be held liable for these orders.

Please note: we will not be held liable for any late deliveries if delays occur by causes beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation:-
(a) fire;
(b) severe weather conditions;
(c) industrial dispute;
(d) strike or labour disputes

Order Cancellations
In order to provide a fast service, some products are immediately sent for production. Please check your order on screen and the confirmation email carefully as we cannot refund products which have been mis-spelt.

If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us during office hours by email to jewellery.box@outlook.com or by telephone (01915140168) before the goods have been placed into production.

Orders that have been personalised cannot be cancelled once they have entered the production process. If you still wish to cancel the order beyond this point 100% of the item price will still be charged.

Where goods have already been dispatched to you, a refund is not possible. We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund. The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.

Products Containing Batteries
Some of our products, including our clock range, come supplied with batteries. Here at The Jewellery Box we are committed to help the environment where possible. It is important to dispose of used batteries in a safe way through the proper channels.

Due to the chemical makeup of batteries, they should not be disposed of with normal household waste but rather through a recognized battery collection point. To find your nearest collection points please visit; http://www.batteryback.org/battery-collection.html. For further information regarding the disposal and the recycling of batteries you can visit; http://www.batteryback.org/links.html
